FP7 Call: EeB 2012

Largest ever call for the construction sector

The third call within the EC's research and innovation programme for the construction sector is now open. The 2012 call is the most substantial so far - the commission is investing 140 million Euro, and the industry is expected to contribute with the equal amount.

In EeB 2012 the main focus has shifted towards energy systems and optimisation of energy flow management on a regional level, as demonstrated in actual districts.

Meanwhile, considerable assets are still available for demonstration of energy efficient renovation of multi housing areas (In Swedish: miljonprogramsområden).

Specific target groups are multi-family property owners, municipalities and developers of HVAC/ bulding services or indoor climate and other control systems. Consortia of participants from three (3) member countries are invited. The maximum number of participants in one consortium is set to ten (10).

This year, targeted investments in technical components development are aimed at windows and heat exchanger filters.
