EeB Sweden launched

A nationwide network

EeB Sweden is a new network of players in the research community, the construction industry and the public sector. The objective is to increase European funding of research and innovation in the Swedish construction sector.

The launch of EeB Sweden took place on June 10, 2011, at a start up meeting organised by SP Technical Institute of Sweden and IQ Samhällsbyggnad, the programme administrator of CERBOF.

 

Meeting participants

First up on the agenda of the start up meeting of EeB Sweden were various perspectives on the European Commission's Energy efficient Buildings programme.

Jessica Algehed of SP shed some light on the developments that had led to the meeting. Stefano Carosio from E2BA reported on the roadmap being developed by the association. Vinnova, the organisational node for the experts and advisers in the various European research programme committées, contributed with three presentations. Miles Davies from Karolinska Institutet explained the secret behind KI's success in FP7. Magnus Andersson, IMCG, presented his view on the drafting and administration of European projects; a strategy that has yielded the rewards of best project in both FP5 and FP6.
